  • Sales and Enquiries

    • Catherine Rumney - Managing Director

      Cat's the MD and in charge of sales. She's the one who takes our work out into the big wide world to show it off and, like a proud parent, sings our praises to anyone who will listen. She also knows a thing or two about design and web, and comes ready loaded with opinions... whether you want to hear them or not!

      • After hours...

        I'm to be found chasing around after three small children and occasionally hiding in my greenhouse with muddy hands, a good book and a glass of red wine if I can sneak it in.

      • Best bits...

        Experience in the industry and a passion for all things creative combined with a determination to see things through to completion. I love challenges and always try to find creative ways to solve problems.

      • One day I'll...

        Write a book, run a vineyard, learn to play the piano, start painting again and... and lose weight.

      • Worst bits...

        I like chocolate way to much.

    • Jeremy Smyth - Studio Manager

      We don't like to over inflate Jeremy's ego but he really is the oracle of all things studio related. He makes sure work is scheduled, completed and delivered on time and on budget which is no mean feat when you are dealing with an unruly bunch of creatives.

      In addition, his web geekery is hard to top so if you have a question and you don't know who to call...

      • After hours...

        I'll be spending as much time as possible playing with Lego (the large bricks are the best), sticking, colouring and doing jigsaws. My 3 year old daughter helps me out when she can.

        I also spend a positively unhealthy amount of time on the Internet—both working and keeping up to date with what's new online—but also try and get out and take advantage of all the Lake District has to offer. It's a real privilege to be able to work in such an exciting industry in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.

        ... go back to Vietnam. My wife and I would love to take our daughter, or tag along with her when she's older—if she'll let us.

    • Juliet Iddon - Accounts

      Juliet is a whiz with accounts and is happy to deal with any enquiries that you may have. She is also extremely good at keeping us all in order, dotting the I's and crossing the T's on paperwork and generally mothering us all into some sort of organisation.

  • Studio

    • Sue Kennedy - Web Manager

      We love our Pixel Princess and so do our clients. Sue has been part of the team since day one and her passion for websites knows no bounds. Softly spoken but no push over, the pink hair and a quiet voice belies a steely determination to get things right and get things done, and woe betide anyone who disagrees.

      • After hours...

        Flying kites (really big ones), singing in a gospel choir, listening to music, dancing... at every opportunity and then unwinding at a pilates class, or two.

      • Best bits...

        Enthusiasm and creativity, I love HTML, CSS and all things web, I've a good eye for design (they tell me), my attention to detail is well-documented, and I have been in the industry longer than I'd care to mention!

      • One day I'll...

        Win the lottery please, live somewhere hot, refuse to grow old gracefully, spend less hours in the office, own an Audi R8 (see "lottery").

      • Worst bits...

        My attention to detail drives everyone mad!

    • Simon Harper - Senior Print & Brand Designer

      It may be our age but designers seem to be looking younger these days, or perhaps that's just Simon. However, his youthful appearance belies a wealth of print and brand experience that dates back over 12 years in the industry. There isn't much that Simon hasn't come across when it comes to print but he still does a little dance every time a new sample book arrives.

      • After hours...

        I can be found in the gym, or locked in a dark room watching a good film. I have a passion for science fiction, war movies and conspiracy stories ...ooh, and Harry Potter.

      • Best bits...

        I love type and illustration and will find any excuse to draw. I like a healthy serving of Adobe before breakfast.

      • One day I'll...

        Travel the world...probably drawing it.

  • Marketing

    • Phillip Gerrish - Marketing Assistant

      • After hours...

        I run a weekly drama group, and I try to read as much as possible. I love to shop.

      • Best bits...

        I enjoy thinking up off the wall ideas (see Worst Bits)...

      • One day I'll...

        Finish writing a book, see more of the world, get to grips with ironing, and maybe go back to Uni.

      • Worst bits...

        I'm addicted to eBay. My ideas can be quite off the wall (see Best Bits)...
