When developing Hilton’s booking system, our goal was to create a user-friendly hub where people can check the availability of and book Hilton properties. This project came together in two phases.
Phase one encompassed the development of the system, establishing a stable foundation with a sleek front end design, smooth booking process, and rental/price management. We integrated an easy to control payment system that streamlined orders and income for Hilton. During this development period we crafted with consideration to the possibility of scaling in the future, ensuring the system was able to welcome international resorts.
We also implemented a filtering system so that results may adjust to the user’s search criteria. The results would include the resorts name, size, and availability - key information at a glance - with a more in depth description available when the property is selected.
Phase two involved integrating special offers across Hilton accommodation, making these offers easy to find and apply to vacations. We made offers each to manage, with time frames - so that they would appear and disappear automatically - and the ability to select what properties they apply to based on the resort, size, changeover day, start and end date, and number of nights.
